Most business planning tends to kick off around January to March. A lot of this time though, is
spent setting up and getting into a routine for the New Year, leaving little room for the creative
juices to flow. If you’re not giving yourself the space for those ideas to flow, you’ll be ‘stuck in the
trenches’ of work, which is how most of the year tends to go anyway. This is why recharging your
batteries over the holiday season is so key – because it’s only when you give yourself that quiet
time, where your brain has ‘space’ to think about other things, that the ideas really flow. It’s key
here to really listen to what your brain is telling you because the ideas you’ll have running on fully
recharged ‘batteries’ could be some of the best ideas you’ll have all year.
